UK Charts: Battlefield Hardline Sucessfully Steals the Top Spot

EA and Visceral Games’ Battlefield spin-off has found success. Battlefield Hardline launched last week, and has taken the charts by storm in the UK. Hardline outperformed Battlefield 4, which launched in second place back in 2013.

There were three other major releases last week. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, a port of a PSP game, came in second place. Mario Party 10 came in sixth, becoming the second-highest debut in franchise history (Mario Party 8 still did better). Finally we have Resident Evil: Revelations 2, which received its retail release last week after releasing on a per-episode basis digitally the previous four weeks. Due to the UKIE not tracking digital sales, a large proportion of Revelations 2 sales are not accounted for.
