Details on Killing Floor 2’s Official Soundtrack Released

Tripwire Interactive and Solid State Records announced today that the soundtrack for Tripwire’s upcoming Killing Floor 2 will be released April 21 at both digital and retail outlets.

The soundtrack features a “mix of metal, rock, industrial, and electronic music,” according to a press release sent out from Tripwire. Metal fans are often neglected by mainstream video game releases, and Tripwire Interactive’s President, John Gibson, is very aware there is an untapped audience looking to get their metal fix while gaming.

“This is a dream soundtrack for me to have so many amazing bands with songs that fit the game so well… Only an independent game studio would put together such a brutal game soundtrack, and it’s great to be able to partner with the independent label Solid State Records to release it.”
