Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim, until now only available on PS2 and PSP, will include new features on PC, including widescreen support, the ability to warp to checkpoints, and a new “Catastrophe Mode,” in which healing items cannot be purchased or stores and are instead automatically activated upon collection. Akiba’s Trip, on the other hand, will feature the full visual editor included in the game’s PS4 release, allowing players to completely alter the visuals of the game. Both games will also offer USB controller support.
Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim will release on Steam, the Humble Store and GOG.com this spring. Akiba’s Trip: Undead and Undressed will only be available on Steam around the same time.
