It’s hard to believe that Dark Soul II has been out for over a year now. It was originally released on PS3 and Xbox 360, and then later ported to PC. Bandai Namco continues to capitalize on its success by porting it to other platforms, while From Software adds more content.
While the PS4 and Xbox One versions are still slated for next week, the PC version is already available. Existing owners will receive the content at no additional cost, but it will dig a hole in their pocket to receive the DX11 visual upgrades. If you own the base game, it will set you back $29.99, while those with the DLC will receive it at an even more discounted value of $19.99. The standard price for newcomers is $49.99 for the DX11 version, and $39.99 for DX9.
