Discotek Media announced today that they have licensed Sonic X for a North American release. The complete series set has no release date, but will feature the English voice acting. They aren’t sure if they’ll be able to include the Japanese voice track at this time. Discotek Media is an awesome company. Beyond doing gaming stuff like this, the ’90s Mega Man cartoon, and the Fatal Fury movies, they brought Lupin the Third back from the dead in North America many years ago. Since 2007, they’ve steadily put out new releases that never saw the light of day here before while also releasing the definitive editions of movies like The Mystery of Mamo and Hiyao Miyazaki’s Castle of Cagliostro.
