When Final Fantasy XIII was released in 2010, the mere notion of the game coming to a handheld system would have been absurd enough to be a joke. Just five years later, however, not only has FFXIII made the jump to handheld, but to smartphones no less.
Square Enix has just released Final Fantasy XIII on Android and iOS in Japan. The first 30 minutes of the game can be played for free upon which players will have the option to pay to unlock the full experience.
The game is a “Cloud App” and requires to be streamed with an internet connection.
