Director Kieji Inafune has revealed when gamers can get their hands on the spiritual successor to Mega Man. Mighty No. 9 launches September 15. Retail and digital versions of the PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U versions will be available day one. PC, Mac, Linux, PS3, and Xbox 360 will only be available as digital downloads. The PS Vita and 3DS versions will launch at a later date.
Comcept, Inafune’s studio, also revealed that the Japanese and French voice-overs will be included with the main game, and subtitles will be available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Russian, Polish and Brazilian Portuguese. The ‘Ray’ DLC was also unveiled, and features a brand new stage that unlocks Ray as a playable character once beaten. Kickstarter backers and those who pick up one of the retail versions get the DLC for free.
