A Kickstarter was launched last June for a game called Combat Core, but it didn’t come close to succeeding, raising only $674 of its $20,000 goal. Instead of giving up, developer Micah Betts went back to the drawing board (figuratively and literally) and has come back with a completely redefined game. Clearly much more polished than the game looked a year ago, Combat Core is a futuristic arena fighting game clearly inspired by early-2000 party brawlers like Power Stone.
The Kickstarter is seeking $30,000 this time around, but has already raised $2,000 of that goal.
