E3 2015 is a couple of weeks away, but it seems the folks at Crystal Dynamics want to spread the joy a little bit early. Posting nothing besides an ominous “something’s coming” on the team’s official Tomb Raider Tumblr and Twitter accounts, we’re not sure what to expect, but obviously it’s something.
We do know a sequel for Tomb Raider is titled Rise of the Tomb Raider and scheduled to arrive in winter of this year. All signs are pointing to more announcements of the new game. Since its rebooting, fans have been clamoring to see more of Lara Croft’s background and what leads her to become such a strong, adventurous archaeologist. Both the original release and definitive edition of Tomb Raider were wonderful to play; we can only expect the sequel to be just as entertaining.
We’ll get more details on what’s to come June 1, but you can take a look at the website and play with an interactive flare to reveal an image of Lara. If you can’t wait a couple of days for a Tomb Raider fix, might we suggest the recently released mobile game — Lara Croft: Relic Run.
