The list of presenters at the PC Gaming Show continues to grow. The first ever E3 conference dedicated to PC gaming is acquiring quite the guest list. Blizzard Entertainment, Square Enix, AMD, Obsidian Entertainment, and Bohemia Interactive are among the attendees, and today we can confirm that Microsoft will be there as well.
Xbox boss Phil Spencer will be on-hand to discuss Windows 10 and Xbox. The latest edition of Windows will add an Xbox app, which will allow for different forms of cross-functionality between the two platforms on certain games. To Microsoft, Xbox is now more of a brand instead of just a games console.
“For us, the PC Gaming Show is the ideal place to speak directly to PC gamers, and it’s a great time to talk about Windows 10 – the best operating system we’ve ever created for gamers on PCs,” Microsoft’s Head of Xbox Phil Spencer told PC Gamer. “With Windows 10, we’re bringing the best of Xbox with the best of Windows gaming, including Xbox Live and the new Xbox app, Game DVR for nearly every game, and DirectX 12 for better gaming graphics and performance.”
The PC Gaming Show will take place June 16 from 5-8 pm PT. Windows 10 will launch July 29 as a free download for anyone using Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.
