Breathtaking CryEngine 3-powered open-world medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance will make an appearance at this year’s E3. To give a slight taste of what they will be showing, developer Warhorse Studios released a teaser video today that was put together using in-game footage from the latest Tech Alpha 0.4 build of the game.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a crowd-funded project that met its goal on Kickstarter back in early 2014. Today, crowd-funding for the game is still ongoing via the game’s website, where you can also gain access to the pre-launch Tech Alpha. The ongoing funding makes sense as the game, set in 15th century Bohemia, is meant to have a vast and interesting open-world but also a keen attention to historical accuracy. Warhorse Studios did not stop there though, Kingdom Come is also supposed to feature a well-told, nonlinear story based on actual events, and a responsive, difficult, but realistic battle system. It is easy to see these design ideals can come together into an intense and eye-catching experience.
