With E3 just around the corner, it looks like someone leaked ADR1FT’s trailer for the show. Not to be deterred, developer Three One Zero has publicized it, stating that the leaked trailer — made entirely with in-game assets — was created with award-winning visual effects company Blur Studios.
An Unreal Engine 4-powered “first-person experience” game, ADR1FT is meant to be a short, beautiful non-violent struggle for survival through the fluid void of space. Players will become immersed in the eye-catching but terrifying trial of an astronaut stranded in the empty vacuum above the clouds, navigating through obstacles, solving puzzles, and grabbing at oxygen sources to replenish an ever-diminishing supply. Fans of movies like 2001: A Space Odyssey and Gravity will likely want to take note, not to mention anyone interested in capturing the terror and thrill of living in constant, uncontrolled motion.
