E3 2015: Bethesda Finally Reveals Doom with Full Gameplay Demo

During the first ever Bethesda E3 Showcase, gamers worldwide were finally treated to official footage from the upcoming Doom reboot. While a limited amount of fans were shown gameplay during QuakeCon, the general public hasn’t seen any official Doom footage (outside of that hilariously tiny snippet earlier this year). Build on the id 6 engine by id Software, Doom is set to play homage to its roots while also feeling quite modern. Viewers were treated to a trailer that showcased a shotgun-wielding soldier in a flaming factory overrun by flame-spewing demons. Melee finishers and plenty of gore were on display during the Showcase, so those who are squeemish should do their best to avoid id’s latest title.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, you can absolutely saw demons in half with a chainsaw, so there’s that. Doom will be out on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in Spring 2016.
