Developer Crystal Dynamics announced an official release date for Rise of the Tomb Raider at Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference.
Rise of the Tomb Raider, which was unveiled last year at Microsoft’s E3 media briefing, is scheduled for release on November 10 for Xbox One and Xbox 360 as part of a publishing deal (meaning that it’s a timed exclusive) between Crystal Dynamics and Microsoft.
The announcement of a release date was accompanied with the first gameplay trailer for Rise of the Tomb Raider, with heroine Lara Croft embarking on her next adventure, which ranges from climbing snowy mountains in the middle of nowhere to fighting a wild bear.
Crystal Dynamics’ 2013 reboot of Tomb Raider and the Definitive Edition have sold more than eight million copies collectively, making it the best-selling title in the franchise. Read more in Hardcore Gamer’s reviews of Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.
