If you’ve ever wanted to know what it feels like to be an “infant god,” then boy do I have good news for you: Godling was just announced for Sony’s Project Morpheus.
In Godling, you’ll play as well, a “godling,” a freshly born god discovering its powers in “a beautiful natural world.” You’ll be able to do good in the world, but remember, you’re a fledgling god, so you’re going to make mistakes, too, and that’s where the game sounds the most interesting to me. You could “accidentally ruin everything,” developer Sólfar wrote in a reveal post. The world is perilous, but you’re one of the dangers until you can master your new powers.
The post also coins the fantastic term “gaze-based navigation,” so expect to use the Morpheus headset to look where you want to go as the system tracks you in combination with the DualShock 4.
