Best of E3 2015 – Day Six: Game of Show

Over the past five days, Hardcore Gamer has revealed its Best of E3 2015 Awards. It had to end eventually and today we’re proud to present you with our Game of Show.

E3 2015 Game of Show: Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

With such a packed E3 this year, who would have thought Eidos Montreal’s Deus Ex: Mankind Divided would come out on top of them all? While not playable on the show floor, the demo Eidos ran glued us to the edge of our seats, eagerly awaiting what was going to be shown next. The stealth mechanics look to remain some of the best in the genre, now with a strong focus on takedown concealment, and the action side of things has been reworked to be less of a drag. On top of that, the story is also evolving as players will not only have more branching paths to go down, but plot will alter drastically as you progress. One player’s story will be different from another, having the lives and events change depending on subtle actions. While the fictional future Eidos Montreal has crafted paints a rather grim picture of the world, at least the outlook on the future of the Deus Ex franchise is shining bright.
