If there’s one thing in the industry right now that there’s no shortage of, it’s HD remasters, but at least some developers are trying to build and expand upon their properties rather than just simply porting their titles to a new console. That’s what Nordic Games are doing as their remaster of Darksiders II will come with a number of visual upgrades.
The Austrian-based publisher has released a few screenshots comparing the original Darksiders II and the Deathinitive Edition. It should be noted, at least from my assessment, the before screenshots are from the PC version, so you can tell that Nordic is definitely reworking a lot of the textures. Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition will be out sometime this year for PS4 and Xbox One.
