When you hear the phrase “twin-stick,” it’s usually in relation to twin-stick shooters. But what if you played a twin-stick game where your goal was mostly to avoid bullets instead of shoot them yourself?
That’s what Soft Body appears to provide. Playing as a gooey, squishy snake controlled by an analog stick, you must go through 2D levels and touch the walls to paint them. Once everything has been painted you continue on. However, loads of bullets will pepper the screen to stop you.
There’s even the potential to detatch one snake from the other and control both simultaneously. It seems a lot harder to keep track of the two creatures at once, though. Soft Body is coming to both PS4 and Vita later this year and will include Cross Buy support.
