Xbox One Version of Smite Enters Open Beta Today

Smite, the third person MOBA making waves on the Xbox One, enters its open beta period today.

The game is free-to-play for Xbox One owners with Xbox Live, with a $30 Founder’s Pack to unlock every character in the game for play, in addition to a few other in-game goodies.  This Founder’s Pack will be discontinued when the game launches in full, which developer Hi Rez plans on later this summer.  When the switch from beta to full release occurs, any items bought in the game’s virtual marketplace will transfer through the transition.

Anyone who links their accounts between PC and Xbox One will receive a bonus skin for Zeus, and players committed to swapping between console and PC can also merge their accounts, which is detailed on the game’s official site.
