Jade Raymond Opens New Studio Under EA

Best known for her work on Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell Blacklist at Ubisoft, Jade Raymond has moved to Electronic Arts with the opportunity to open up a new studio. Motive Studios will be located in Montreal, Quebec Canada and will be in charge of making games while at the same time overlooking other studios.

They are currently working on a brand new IP under EA Games’ banner, while also assisting Visceral Games with their upcoming Star Wars project. While they won’t be working directly on Mass Effect: Andromeda, at least right now, they will be stationed in “close quarters” of BioWare Montreal, so there’s an opportunity of a collaboration in the future.
