Mortal Kombat X is Likely to get More DLC

Tremor launched yesterday on PS4, Xbox One, and PC for everyone who purchased the Kombat Pack. While the earth elemental was supposed to be the final DLC character, that may no longer be the case.

Yesterday, NetherRealm hosted a livestream to showcase Tremor’s variations, X-ray move, and fatalities. It was pretty standard fare, but something happened at the end that would leave one to believe that more DLC characters are on their way. The livestream ended with a reference to Tremor as the end of “Kombat Pack 1,” hinting that there may be a Kombat Pack 2 on the horizon.

That Mortal Kombat X might be getting more DLC is not a surprise. NetherRealm has released all four characters within the three months after release, and it’s doubtful that support for the fighting game will end anytime soon. Plus, NetherRealm has dabbled in releasing more DLC in the past. Injustice: Gods Among Us saw the release of two additional characters, Martian Manhunter and Zataana, who were not part of the original Season Pass. We’ll let you know should Warner Bros. and NetherRealm make any announcements regarding a Kombat Pack 2 for Mortal Kombat X.

Thanks, GameSpot!
