The upcoming Super Mario Maker will be available in three different editions when the title launches in Europe on September 11, Nintendo has announced today.
Firstly, the Super Mario Maker Wii U Premium Pack will consist of a black Wii U console, a physical version of Super Mario Maker, a hardback art book and a Classic Colours Mario Amiibo from the Mario 30th Anniversary Collection.
The Super Mario Maker Limited Edition Pack, on the other hand, has every item in the Wii U Premium Pack barring the Wii U console itself, while the third and final version of the title, Super Mario Maker Standard Edition Pack, only includes a copy of Super Mario Maker and the art book.
Nintendo, however, has said that those who purchase Super Mario Maker via the Nintendo eShop will receive the art book in a PDF document, but the actual book can also be bought as a standalone.
The Classic Colours Mario Amiibo can be purchased separately when Super Mario Maker is released, Nintendo confirmed in a press release, with the additional ‘Modern Colours variant’ of the figure coming on October 23.
Nintendo did not reveal whether or not the Limited Edition Pack would be heading to North America. We have contacted Nintendo for more details and will update this story as soon as we receive a response.
Super Mario Maker, which was officially unveiled as Mario Maker at E3 2014, allows players to create their own twist on levels from Mario titles like Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World and New Super Mario Bros. U.
Nintendo had Super Mario Maker as the title used in the final match at the 2015 Nintendo World Championships last month.
