After 3 years on being in service Nintendo will be shutting down Nintendo TVii.
In a statement released by NintendoSarah’s Mii, she announces that the service alongside the TVii Miiverse community will both be shutting down. Why you ask? Well, according to the FAQ you can access here, “Every service has a life cycle, and it is time to focus our resources on other projects.”
At the time Nintendo has nothing to announce when it comes to a TVii replacement. Also worth noting is that this won’t affect any of the Video on Demand services if you use any on your Wii U.
Nintendo TVii will be ending on August 11 at 12 p.m P.T. via a system update.
