Asia is quickly becoming a major market for the video game industry, what with China finally ending its band on consoles just this week. It’s not taking long for major American companies to jump on this emerging market and today EA has announcement a publishing agreement with Nexon to bring a PC online version of Titanfall to Asia.
Details so far are scarce, but it seems that the game may be free-to-play.
“With its pilot vs. titan gameplay, among other innovations, Titanfall is a uniquely intense game experience,” said Owen Mahoney, President and Chief Executive Officer of Nexon. We look forward to working with the talented teams at Respawn and EA and leveraging Nexon’s free-to-play expertise to deliver a new and engaging online game based on Titanfall to the Asian market”
