The last couple of months for PlayStation Plus have been OK at best, continuing to add primarily indie games to the PlayStation 4’s catalogue while dishing out a couple bigger budget games for its predecessor. August is no different, although the distribution of smaller games seems to be at a higher caliber this month.
For the PlayStation 4, Limbo along with Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will be handed out, with Stealth Inc. 2: A Game of Clones and Sound Shapes serving as the three-platform cross-buy titles. PlayStation 3 owners will also take home God of War Ascension, which is unfortunately the least impressive game in the franchise, and shares CastleStorm with the Vita.
Overall, August is looking like a more promising month, delivering higher profile titles for your hard paid $50.
