Three Awesome Kirby Games Coming To Wii U Tomorrow

Have a Wii U and love Kirby? Then tomorrow is your lucky day. Three classic Kirby games are coming to the eShop in commemoration of the character’s 23rd birthday. Kirby 64, Kirby: Squeak Squad and Kirby’s Epic Yarn will be sold separately on the shop for digital download according to a tweet by Nintendo of America.

Kirby 64 was obviously a Nintendo 64 game, but it’s known for it’s 2.5D side scrolling adventure mechanics. Kirby: Squeak Squad was a Nintendo DS game that was 2D much like it’s predecessor, Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, but it more or less figured out the abilities much better. It felt more intuitive and fun. And Kirby’s Epic Yarn, a Wii Game, went back once more to the 2.5D look, but made everything look like it was made of yarn. It worked out well, adding to Kirby’s cuteness level and inspiring the new Yoshi’s Woolly World.

Check out these three awesome games tomorrow when the drop into the eShop. Keep coming back for more Kirby, Nintendo and Wool.
