Publisher Ubisoft released on Friday a 10-minute walkthrough video for the upcoming open-world title Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
Evie Frye, who is one of the two playable protagonists in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, is used in the gameplay demonstration, as game director Scott Phillips confirms that she will have her own unique story, skill tree and stealth abilities.
In the video, which can be viewed below, Phillips showcases one of the ‘black box’ missions in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate — a feature incorporated in last year’s Assassin’s Creed Unity — allowing players to plan, approach and execute their main objective however they see fit.
This isn’t the first instance in which Ubisoft has focused on Evie, as an Assassin’s Creed Syndicate trailer showcased at this year’s E3 highlighted a few of the weapons and skills that players will be able to take advantage of when they are in control of her.
Straight Outta Compton director F. Gary Gray recently collaborated with comic book artist Pop Mhan on the production of an Assassin’s Creed Syndicate short film, with the four-minute-long video adding backstory to Jacob and Evie Frye’s rise in London’s organised crime.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate launches worldwide on October 23 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Meanwhile, Ubisoft has previously stated that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s PC version is scheduled for release sometime in the fall of 2015.
