‘Goliath’ Brings Robot-Crafting to Kickstarter

It’s hard to ignore a Kickstarter when it pitches itself as “a game about building robots and punching monsters.” Goliath, a project by Whalebox Studio, appears to be exactly that.

At first, the vast open world makes Goliath seem a bit like your typical survival game. The biggest difference is that you’re crafting a variety of awesome robots (known as Goliaths). Not only that, but there’s actually a story mode and ending for those looking to get involved with the characters. Of course, you can also bring your favorite Goliath into a multiplayer arena battle.

Hopefully this combination of super popular aspects (mechs and survival) will push the team toward their $50,000 Kickstarter goal. If so, you’ll be able to play Goliath on PC sometime next year.
