Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Now Available on Steam

Publisher Square Enix announced on Tuesday that Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is now available for download on Steam.

Square Enix stated earlier this year that a PC version of title would be coming, with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD director Hajime Tabata saying last month that it would allow them “to fully realize our original vision of the game in an enhanced and refined experience exclusively for PC.”

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has been updated to offer full controller support and the option to push the resolution even higher for top-of-the-line PCs, as well as having Steam achievements and trading cards, an improved in-game battle camera and a customisable screenshot mode.

“We’ve been hard at work enhancing and refining the game for the PC, and this is the Final Fantasy Type-0 that we wanted to share with our fans,” Tabata added.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, which is a remaster of the 2011 PSP title, was released earlier this year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Since it launched, Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has shipped more than a million copies worldwide.
