Sony has revealed that their yearly Tokyo Game Show conference will take place September 15 at 12:00 a.m. PST / 3:00 a.m. EST.
Like many other conferences these days, Sony’s presentation will be live streamed via the Japanese PlayStation Blog. It is unclear at this time what Sony will bring, but many are speculating that a sequel to Gravity Rush will be revealed. A Final Fantasy VII HD remaser has also been rumored.
While Sony will have a major presence at TGS, Microsoft will not. Last month the company revealed that they would not have a conference this year.
“2015 will continue to provide an attractive game line-up, exclusive titles included,” Microsoft Japan category marketing group’s Masayuki Inoue said in a statement. “This year, Microsoft will not exhibit the Tokyo Game Show, but we’re making various preparations to deliver the latest Xbox news to fans and media. We will provide an update as soon as we can.”
Tokyo Game Show runs from September 15 to the 20.
