Microsoft announced today what games both Xbox One and Xbox 360 players will be getting for free in September if they have an Xbox Gold membership.
For Xbox One, players will get Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, which will let those who have yet to experience the series get a chance to before the second game, Rise of The Tomb Raider comes out on November 10. One players will also get a new indie published side-scroller called The Deer God. The Deer God is an odd, 3D pixellated game where you play as a deer running from hunters, but other, more mysterious things, are also going on in the beautiful, pixel forest.
Xbox 360 owners will be able to play the first person shooter known for its startlingly good graphics, Crysis 3. Players will also get Battlestations: Pacific, which is a real-time strategy game where you take control of World War II ships, and battle on the seas.
Microsoft and Sony have been battling themselves, as they fight for better deals when it comes to free, monthly games for their premium users. Either way, us players get multiple, great games that we get to enjoy for free each month, and that can’t be beat.
