WWE 2K16’s gigantic roster got nearly two dozen additions to it today. Billy Gun, Bret “Hitman” Hart, British Bulldog, Cactus Jack, Christian, Damien Sandow, D’Lo Brown, Dude Love, Farooq, Haku, The Honky Tonk Man, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, Kama Mustafa, Ken Shamrock, Mankind, Paul Wight, Rikishi, Shane McMahon, Shawn Michaels, Vader, Vince McMahon, and X-Pac were announced for the roster.
In-game images for most of the new roster were shown off, and they mostly look pretty good. Body-wise, they’re excellent – but faces still seem a bit off. Lips in particular look like they’re wax figures and don’t part at all. It’s a strange look and never looks right to the eye, even if the actual gear looks fantastic. Vader’s mask in particular has a lot of depth to it, and that’s fairly rare. Vader being included is great news because he’s so perfect for video game matches, and if the in-game movesets are brought back to the level of 2K14 allowing for so many more moves than 2K15, it can lead to some fantastic Vader vs. Brock Lesnar matches. Haku being included is nice too, and this will be his first video game appearance since the original WWF Raw on Xbox.
