UK Charts: FIFA 16 remains at the Top for a Second Week

FIFA 16, despite seeing week-over-week sales drop by 74%, managed to claim to top spot for a second week in a row. This is despite a rather strong debut from Warner Bros.’ LEGO Dimensions. The publisher’s first foray into the toy-to-life genre has been a resounding success in the UK. Though it only placed second, LEGO Dimensions easily sold more units during week one than both Disney Infinity 3.0 and Skylanders Superchargers. This is the third best launch for a toy-to-life game in UK history with LEGO Dimensions coming in just behind Skylanders Giants and Skylanders Swap Force.

There were several other new entries to the Top 20. 2K Games NBA 2K16 had a strong start in third place, and Nintendo’sĀ Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer debuted in sixth place. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 fizzled in twelfth place, probably thanks to abysmal review scores and press.
