The Warhammer games keep rolling in these days. Latest on the front lines is Warhammer 40,000 Dark Nexus Arena by Whitebox Interactive, a MOBA game with a skill-shot based control scheme. Its control scheme makes moving a little more active than your typical MOBA; basic attacks and specials all need to be aimed, but players can also dash and take cover. The idea is to combine twitch shooter mechanics with MOBA character progression. Another big difference from other MOBAs is Dark Nexus Arena’s open battle arena design. This means instead of the three lane structure, the entire map is one stomping ground. The objective is to be the team that captures the Dark Nexus three times.
