Rise of the Tomb Raider’s Latest Trailer Showcases PC Graphical Improvements

Rise of the Tomb Raider arrives on PC tomorrow, and is looking really good if the latest trailer is anything to go by.

Crystal Dyanmics and Nixxes have released a new trailer highlighting numerous graphical improvements to Rise of the Tomb Raider on PC. PC players can expect anisotropic filtering, tesselation, dynamic foliage, and through a partnership with Nvidia, a high-end ambient occlusion technique called HBAO+. It’s all impressive when seen in action, and turns an already beautiful game into a visual masterpiece. Both Crystal Dynamics and Nixxes worked on the port.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is available January 28 on PC via Steam. A Windows 10 version is also planned. Those who pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition will get launch-day access to Endurance Mode and Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch. The game is already available on Xbox One and Xbox 360, and is scheduled for release on PS4 holiday 2016.
