Traveller’s Tales and Warner Bros. have officially announced the next entry in the ongoing LEGO series, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The announcement comes shortly after the game was leaked last night. As expected, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is an adaptation of Episode VII. Players will get to play as fan-favorite characters like Han Solo and Chewbacca, as well as newcomers Rey, Finn and Kylo Ren. In addition, Traveller’s Tales is working with LucasFilm to develop new content for The Force Awakens, as well as content that fills in the gap between Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Episode VII: The Force Awakens. At this point, it is unknown if Traveller’s Tales intend to include Episodes I-VI.
Anyone who picks up the PS4 or PS3 versions of the game get a special bonus. As part of an exclusivity deal between Warner Bros. and Sony, PlayStation players will get access to the Droid Character Pack and Phantom Limb Level Pack. Traveller’s Tales didn’t going to detail, but promises to reveal more in the future. A Deluxe Edition was also announced for PS4 and Xbox One that comes with the game’s Season Pass Finn (FN-2187) Mini-figure for $69.99.
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is out June 28 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS and PS Vita.
