Life Is Strange Avatars Revealed for PlayStation 4

Publisher Square Enix and developer Dontnod Entertainment released on Wednesday Life Is Strange-themed avatars for PlayStation 4.

The avatars, which are now available on the PlayStation Store, range from Life Is Strange’s two main heroines — Maxine Caulfield and Chloe Price — to the title’s supporting cast of characters, including Kate Marsh, Victoria Chase and Warren Graham.

If none of the people from Arcadia Bay are appealing enough to be a new PSN profile picture, then there’s also the option to purchase avatars that relate to Life Is Strange in other ways, whether it’s the lighthouse and the tornado or the blue butterfly and the comical Hawt Dawg Man.

Single avatars are priced at £0.79 on the PS Store, while Square Enix and Dontnod Entertainment have also created avatar bundles for £1.99.

From the ‘Men of Arcadia Bay Avatar Bundle’ to the ‘Vortex Club Avatar Pack,’ there are bundles that cater to Life Is Strange fans in almost every single way.

For those that might be unsatisfied with buying a single photo or a specific bundle, Square Enix has covered that issue with the ‘Ultimate Avatar Bundle,’ a £7.99 collection that includes an impressive 32 Life Is Strange avatars.

Dontnod Entertainment also took to the Life Is Strange Twitter account to address concerns that North American PS4 owners might have in searching for Life Is Strange avatars on the PS Store.

The Life Is Strange developer tweeted that the North American PS Store is “taking a little longer to update,” though it won’t take too long before the avatars become visible.

Following an announcement in 2015 that Life Is Strange would be coming to Japan in 2016 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC, Square Enix dropped a brand-new Japanese cinematic trailer for the episodic title earlier this week.

Life Is Strange, which has amassed over one million sales worldwide, is available digitally on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Additionally, the episodic title can, as of last month, be purchased physically in North America and Europe for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
