Were you a fan of Steve Jackson’s Fighting Fantasy books back in the day? Do you just dig gamebooks and Choose Your Own Adventure novels? If either is the case then Sorcery! is the game for you. It’s a digital adaptation of Jackson’s work of the same name and is downright fun.
Players explore the narrative of the story in ways that only “games” can offer, such as allowing you to choose where to go and what to do. When enemy encounters appear, instead of just rolling the dice you see 2D artwork depict the battle with relevant health meters and damage.
The PC release of Sorcery! Parts 1 and 2 runs on Windows and Mac and has a launch week discount of $5.99 on Steam.
