Call of Duty: Black Ops III Black Market Update Adds New Weapons

Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s Black Market just got an update, and now comes packed with new weapons, melee weapons, and more.

The Black Market is the place to go for Common and Rare Supply Drops. You can trade Cryptokeys for drops, or purchase CoD Points using real world money. No matter what, if you want these new weapons, you’re going to have to get Supply Drops. Not even those that dropped $50 for the Season Pass get automatic access to this content.

First up we have three new weapons; the MX Garand Assault Ride, NX Shadow Claw Crossbow, and the Marshal 18 Shotgun-Pistol. The MX Garand is a modern take on the classic World War II rifle. It looks vintage, but comes with modern upgrades. The Shadow Claw Crossbow is silent, but very deadly. Perfect for anyone looking to sneak around. Last, but not least, we have the Shotgun-Pistol. This is perfect for those up close encounters and is described as being just ‘like a warm hug.’

In terms of melee weapons, the new crowbar is perfect for splitting open heads. Of course, there’s also a sword. Yes, you can slice and dice enemies in Call of Duty: Black Ops III with a sword. In addition, 18 new specialist themes and more have been added as potential drops.

A Common Supply Drop will set you back ten Cryptokeys. Meanwhile, a Rare Supply Drop is going to cost you thirty Cryptokeys. You can access these drops from the Black Market in multiplayer.
