Most fans of Destiny expected a game every second year from Bungie, especially after it was announced the studio signed a ten-year, multi-game deal with Activision. Well, Bungie’s plans are a little different as the Bellevue studio has announced today that they are working on a “large” expansion that will be hitting sometime in spring, just a few months from now.
In addition to this news, Bungie has also revealed their plans to release a full Destiny sequel next year in 2017. Unfortunately no exact time frame was given, although one would expect a late summer, early fall release similar to how the first game was released. So long as Bungie actually puts more concentration on variety and improving the story, they can take all the time they need.
