Street Fighter IV was a big hit for Capcom. It sold extravagantly and added a lot more players to the competitive fighting game community. The next entry has been anticipated since IV was halfway through its life cycle.
With Street Fighter V being only a day away, producer Yoshinori Ono has dropped a video message in celebration of the game’s launch. He addresses the concerns of the lack of features it currently has and reaffirms the free content that we will be seeing over the course of the year with emphasis on the cinematic story mode that will launch in June. He’s also letting the player base know that the company is taking feedback from the game and will be using that to release more content over the next few years.
The company lead tournament, The Capcom Pro Tour will be divided across several regions with twelve ranking events per region.
PC and PlayStation 4 fans should have an enjoyable experience when the game launches tomorrow. Our review for Street Fighter V will be coming shortly.
