Nintendo is planning a five minute direct tomorrow for the Pokémon series 20th anniversary, but that doesn’t stop people from leaking information early. From various links, one which includes NerdLeaks, report that two new trademarks for the company have been registered under the names Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.
Also to be mentioned pokemon-sun.com and pokemon-moon.com redirect to the official Pokémon website, so these are likely to be real. Many have been speculating an announcement of Pokémon Z which would assume to be a sequel or expansion to X & Y much like how Pokémon Emerald, Platinum, and Black 2/White 2 were to their original games.
These theoretical Sun and Moon trademarks could be the long awaited seventh generation games. We will find out soon enough when the direct hits tomorrow February 26, at 7:00 AM PT and 10:00 AM Eastern.
