After the departure of Development Director Chris Wynn and the following departure of Mass Effect: Andromeda Lead Writer Chris Schlerf, BioWare has seen another turnover of a major staff member: Senior Editor Cameron Harris. Harris went on Twitter earlier to announce her departure and plans to seek out new opportunities in Seattle.
I've decided to exit the video-game industry to return to Seattle for new opportunities there. I'll be leaving BioWare in mid-April.

While it can be optimistically speculated that the loss of these talented people may not have occurred at a dire time for Mass Effect: Andromeda’s development, it is still a hit to the studio and staff. Harris has worked on major titles including Dragon Age: Inquisition and Gears of War 3, making the move away from the industry a well-earned respite. It is yet to be seen whether these recent departures have negatively affected BioWare’s upcoming sci-fi RPG Mass Effect: Andromeda, but they won’t help the game’s development go any smoother as it heads to its release next year.
