Last year, word broke out that Dentsu Entertainment USA and Man of Action Entertainment (best known for their work on Ben 10 and Generator Rex) would be working on a 26-episode Mega Man animated series. Since then, things have been quiet, but now we have more evidence that the project is indeed moving forward as evidenced by the show’s addition to Dentsu’s official site, complete with what appears to be a potential logo for the series and reconfirmation that it still has a targeted release date of 2017.
The new Mega Man cartoon is set to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the franchise, although beyond that and the previously stated information, not much else is known about the show. Still, hopefully these recent developments, small as they are, indicate that we’ll be hearing more about it soon. Hopefully the Blue Bomber will be getting a proper tribute with all of this indeed.
