One Shot One Kill, Quadruple XP Added to Gears of War: Ultimate Edition

While the beta for the upcoming Xbox One shooter title Gears of War 4 has finally come to an end, developer The Coalition has revealed a special treat for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition players.

The Coalition has posted on the Gears of War Twitter account that the popular One Shot One Kill (OSOK) mode has once again been added to the Ultimate Edition’s multiplayer playlist, with quadruple XP reward also active.

OSOK and the XP bonus will remain in the Ultimate Edition until May 9, The Coalition confirmed in its tweet.

According to the Ultimate Edition developer, its reason for adding OSOK and quadruple XP is to reward the community for their participation in the beta and giving feedback that will make Gears of War 4 “even better!”

The Coalition senior producer Otto Ottosson has also thanked those who participated in the Gears of War 4 beta, tweeting that it is now “time to parse all the feedback [from the beta], and fix all the bugs.”

The Ultimate Edition scored a four out of five from Hardcore Gamer when we reviewed the Xbox One version in August 2015, praising The Coalition for “giving fans and newcomers alike a taste of what made Gears of War so popular.”
