Perfect World Entertainment announced today that Star Trek Online will be coming to consoles. This free-to-play MMORPG has been around for over six years on PC, and features over 130 missions based on classic Star Trek episodes. Some of the franchise’s live-action cast returns to provide voice work for the game, including Jeri Ryan and Michael Dorn. The game gives you a level cap of 60 for free, so it doesn’t lock you into low levels without paying. It places you in the role of a captain of a Federation starship, a Klingon warrior, or you can rebuild the Romulan legacy. There’s some variety here in your path and that should keep things from getting stale. Star Trek Online is set for a release on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in the fall of 2016.
