Since the Xbox One first began supporting Xbox 360 games, players have wanted multi-disc games to be playable. Moreover, with Microsoft wanting all of their published releases playable on the console, that feature would be a requirement. Today, Major Nelson confirmed that the Xbox One officially supports multi-disc games. This opens the door for games like Mass Effect 2 and 3, Dead Space 2 and 3, Blue Dragon, and Lost Odyssey to be playable on the console. In the case of Lost Odyssey, it can easily fill the console’s gap of JRPGs and expose that game to a new audience at the same time if it finally gets a digital release.
