Call of Duty: Black Ops Now Playable on Xbox One

When backwards compatibility was first announced for the Xbox One, one of the first games revealed was Call of Duty: Black Ops 1. It was one of the most-beloved entries in the series, and a game that many were shocked wasn’t among the first wave of releases. Today, Major Nelson confirmed that Black Ops is now playable on the Xbox One.¬†Owners of the digital copy of it, which is on sale this would, should find it in their My Games and Apps area on the Xbox One. Trying a disc-based copy of the game didn’t allow us to play it – but perhaps a small firmware update is coming later today that will enable it.
