Quantic Dream Posts New Motion Capture Image From Detroit: Become Human

Since Quantic Dream founder and studio head David Cage unveiled Detroit: Become Human during Sony’s press conference at Paris Games Week 2015, very little news, if any, has emerged from the French-based developer’s upcoming sci-fi title.

Posting via its official Twitter account, Quantic Dream has finally broken its silence by sharing an image of a motion capture session underway for Detroit: Become Human.

From observing the image, which is posted below, the development team seems to be capturing a scene that has a person standing in the doorway with a rifle and an actor attempting to flee from what could be the set of a building.

“Rehearse, shoot. Rehearse, shoot…and repeat,” Quantic Dream wrote in the tweet.

Considering that the developer hasn’t shared any gameplay footage from Detroit: Become Human, this could potentially end up being a segment shown by Quantic Dream during Sony’s 2016 E3 press conference next month.

Speaking of Sony and E3, The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley revealed yesterday the time and date that Sony will be holding its media briefing at this year’s E3.

Following up on the 2012 tech demo Kara, Detroit: Become Human continues on the story of Kara, an android finding her place among humans and her own kind in the city of Detroit, Michigan.

The Twilight Saga star Valorie Curry will be reprising her role as Kara in the Cage-directed Detroit: Become Human.

Detroit: Become Human will be coming exclusively to PlayStation 4.
