‘Hacked’ Website Could Be Teasing Deus Ex Announcement

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is still three months away and while we’ve been relying on drip-fed new info on what to expect from Square Enix & Eidos Montreal’s latest title, it seems an announcement — or at least some new info — could be coming our way very soon. One of the game’s promotional material, an unofficial news site called AugAware, appears to have been hacked by an opposing organization in the A.R.C. (the Augmented Rights Coalition).

Along with glitching images, blacked-out words in several of the site’s “articles”, a count-down timer can also be seen popping up — the time pointing towards a reveal of some kind next Thursday, May 26 at 7am Pacific Time (or 2pm in the UK). There’s so far been no word or hints from Square Enix as to what this reveal might pertain to, so your guess is as good as ours. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be released on August 23 for PS4, Xbox One & PC.
